About the Role

AMD's Data Center GPU organization is transforming the industry with AI-based Graphics Processors. The role involves driving the growth of AMD's GPU instances in the cloud, engaging with cloud service providers, and supporting the evolution of computing experiences in enterprise Data Centers, AI, HPC, and embedded systems. The position is based in the U.S. and reports to a CVP in AMD's DC GPU Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy and playbook for AMD's go-to-market engagement with North America cloud customers through deep understanding of customer needs and synthesizing comprehensive hardware and software solutions.
  • Outline and operationalize strategic business targets aligned with corporate and BU-level goals.
  • Deeply understand end customer needs and craft resonating customer value propositions.
  • Execute to annual objectives as measured by end customer wins, instances sold through, and GTM engines/partners enabled.
  • Drive and manage all AMD GPU instance marketing deliverables, including instance portfolio positioning, value proposition/collateral, technical summits, and Proof-of-Concept demos.
  • Engage with system hardware architects, software engineers, and thought leaders at customers to position AMD GPU-based instances effectively.
  • Lead GTM related follow-ups as AMD's key point of contact.
  • Build partnerships with CSP's internal customer acquisition and marketing teams.
  • Develop training materials and demand-generation content.
  • Analyze industry trends, especially CSP performance in AI.

Requirements

  • Expertise in GPUs and acceleration in AI/cloud environments.
  • Ability to assess technical and business trade-offs for ROI.
  • Strong understanding of how to distill complex data into relatable value propositions that drive business decisions.
  • Experience in executive-level interactions in business and technical domains.
  • Extensive experience in marketing, business development, or product management in the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven experience managing co-marketing with cloud providers.
  • Understanding of current and future technology trends and their impact on customer interest.
  • Solid understanding of datacenter, MDC, and channel business models.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and project management skills across global teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Industry relationships with potential partners, competitors, customers, and thought leaders.
  • Strategic thinking, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Nice to Have

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience with managing co-marketing with cloud providers.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
