About the Role

The Director of Digital Growth at Hertz is responsible for developing impactful strategies, models, analyses, and reporting processes that drive marketing and loyalty decision making. This role involves implementing marketing spend optimization models, tracking campaign and web performance, and providing advanced analytics insights. The position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure continuous measurement of marketing effectiveness and to identify strategic gaps, managing large-scale analytical projects to generate quantitative insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support strategy for digital and loyalty growth.
  • Monitor and track marketing activities, benchmarking against organizational targets and prior performance.
  • Deliver actionable insights by identifying market opportunities, competitor threats, and customer needs, and pivot quickly in response to market dynamics.
  • Develop decks and presentations with clear messaging aligned with business objectives and trends for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support marketing verticals with ad-hoc requests and new insights to improve actions and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting processes across marketing, including e-commerce impact analysis, tracking goals, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead the production of weekly and monthly performance reports, dashboards, and data validation.
  • Design analytics approaches and data strategies to test marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Revenue Management, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Drive the development of marketing tools utilizing internal and external capabilities for data sharing.
  • Build analytical models such as multivariate regression and forecasting for customer insights.
  • Define and create an integrated view of revenue performance across channels and brands.
  • Collaborate to establish metrics for marketing performance and share insights enterprise-wide.
  • Develop web analytics and visualizations for executive and stakeholder consumption.
  • Identify KPIs for site and product performance, providing daily reports and analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across teams.
  • Present findings to senior leaders and influence stakeholders.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing, results-oriented team, driving organizational change and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Economics, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing analytics, performance media, or a data-driven field.
  • Proven expertise with at least one of the following: DataBricks, Google Analytics, Adobe AEP, Amplitude.
  • Experience with customer attribution and competitive intelligence is a plus.
  • Advanced Google Marketing Suite product knowledge (e.g., GA360, Campaign Manager 360).
  • Advanced capabilities in Google Cloud Platform and SQL, including stored procedures.
  • Experience working with large datasets in complex, customer analytical environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate, synthesize, and apply findings to business problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and build diverse, high-performing teams.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and drive process innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing analytics or a related quantitative field.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, DataBricks, Adobe AEP, Amplitude, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with stored procedures.
  • Experience with large data sets and complex analytical environments.
