As part of a passionate team across various departments, you will contribute to delivering trusted journalism to audiences worldwide and shape strategies to attract and convert new subscribers in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the global acquisition strategy across The Post's portfolio to maximize reach, conversion, and customer lifetime value across diverse products, pricing tiers, and audience segments.
  • Collaborate with Product, Newsroom, and Engineering teams to mitigate traffic decline, navigate platform disruptions, and adapt to evolving audience behaviors.
  • Develop and implement smart metering and paywall strategies that balance audience reach with subscription conversion and engagement metrics.
  • Oversee performance marketing campaigns across paid digital platforms (e.g., Google, Meta, Apple, Reddit, LinkedIn) to ensure efficient budget utilization, audience targeting, and brand messaging.
  • Launch and improve go-to-market strategies for new product features and access models, aligning internal stakeholders and delivering measurable acquisition impact.
  • Optimize the full acquisition funnel through A/B testing, segmentation, creative experimentation, and UX improvements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 10+ growth marketers and specialists, fostering a culture of learning, rigor, and adaptability.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to build experimentation frameworks, enhance user experience, and increase conversion rates and revenue.
  • Leverage first-party data, behavioral insights, and predictive modeling to personalize acquisition messaging and offers.
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Finance to forecast, track, and refine marketing strategies, linking outcomes to business impact and ROI.
  • Represent marketing in strategic product planning to ensure tools, infrastructure, and innovation efforts scale effectively.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in digital acquisition, performance marketing, or growth, with experience in subscription or DTC funnels.
  • 5+ years managing and developing teams with a focus on impact, coaching, and collaboration.
  • Strong strategic instincts with the ability to execute hands-on and pivot quickly.
  • Proven track record of building growth strategies amid digital platform disruption or algorithmic change.
  • Deep fluency in paid digital media, conversion optimization, and cross-channel customer journey design.
  • Data-driven decision maker with experience translating insights into results-oriented programs.
  • Skilled in cross-functional communication, partnering with Editorial, Product, Engineering, Brand, and Finance.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to delivering high-quality experiences supporting journalistic mission.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with experimentation frameworks and user experience enhancement.
  • Knowledge of behavioral insights and predictive modeling for marketing personalization.

Qualifications
