Job Description

About the Role

As Director of Business Development - Facilities, you will have an opportunity to lead new business pursuits with Manufacturing & Logistics prospect clients, and work closely with our Sales and the Facilities Leadership Teams in developing overall sales strategies within Aramark's Facilities Service offerings. These include custodial, grounds and landscaping, and operations and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales process leadership from prospecting contact through strategy, proposal, presentation and successful closure of Integrated Facilities Services project and annuity-based agreements within a defined territory.
  • Create and develop relationships with/selling to Manufacturing & Logistics prospects/clients.
  • Research, identify, qualify, and target potential clients and develop access strategies to client introductions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key prospect/client personas while understanding and communicating prospective customers' campus culture.
  • Develop and evaluate sales and marketing strategies in selling Facilities Services.
  • Lead strategic processes regarding: Competitive Environment, Account Sales Strategy and Development Strategy.
  • Identify needs and develop customer-specific solutions.
  • Utilize resources from across Aramark to design and deliver customer outcomes.
  • Influence and develop team members without formal authority.
  • Build relationships with intermediaries to generate opportunities and awareness.
  • Represent Aramark Facilities Services at industry organizations and events.
  • Build personal relationships with prospective customers.
  • Provide market and competitive information.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree is required; MBA is favorable.
  • At least 5 years of solution-based selling experience.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop proposals and respond to RFPs.
  • Understanding of custodial and maintenance services.
  • Desire and ability to discover and respond to changing client needs with solutions.
  • Experience in Strategic Consultative Selling and building alliances.
  • Strong sales planning, technical, and financial acumen.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to travel 50-70%, including overnight.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing & Logistics sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
