About the Role

This position is ideal for director level marketers in the medical device space to join the Channel Marketing Team in the US Business. Partnering with product marketing, sales, finance, communications, events, experiences, analytics, and global partners, you'll provide key marketing strategies for the orthodontic channel to unlock new submitters and growth. This role will also manage a team of 5-7 direct reports. This role is business critical and the key to unlocking Align's market potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute an Orthodontic marketing plan by working closely with Sales, in order to drive case utilization, tying to Consumer Marketing, iTero scanner business strategy and Education
  • Serve as thought leader internally for US Orthodontists
  • Develop positioning and messaging of Align brand and products to Customers and create channel communications which motivate trial and utilization
  • Lead commercialization of product pipeline, working closely with New Product Development (NPD) teams, including coordinating with Education, Corporate Events, and other areas of Marketing and Sales
  • Develop and execute strategies that address key customer barriers to drive customer utilization and market growth
  • Use data and customer interactions to develop a deep understanding of customer and consumer needs and effectively educate the broader organization about these needs
  • Lead cross-functional teams in creating and executing tactical plans that support business strategies
  • Analyze reports and data sources to gauge business health and growth, and work with finance to manage forecasts
  • Manage projects supporting strategic and tactical efforts, including market research, marketing collateral development, and progress analysis reports
  • Develop annual plans with quarterly tactics that are executed and measured
  • Coach and develop direct reports
  • Ensure objectives and deadlines assigned to the team are effectively fulfilled
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing within the medical device or healthcare space, ideally with a focus on orthodontics or similar clinical markets
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of 5-7 direct reports
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans
  • Experience with product commercialization and working with cross-functional teams including NPD, sales, and education
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze reports and business trends
  • Excellent communication and messaging development skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage deadlines
  • Experience in market research and developing marketing collateral
  • Strong collaboration skills across departments and external partners

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with consumer marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with orthodontic or dental industry products and market dynamics
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and analytics tools
