About the Role

Sponsored Products and Brands is seeking a single-threaded leader to drive SP Advertiser Growth. This role will own the systems, models and teams that help SP's advertising customers across 22 global marketplaces, including recommendations, suggestions, defaults, controls, and optimization. The leader will oversee a high-performing organization of 115 members across engineering, science, and product, and will develop new programs and initiatives to enhance advertiser experience and campaign outcomes. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that blends technical leadership, product thinking, customer obsession, and cross-functional collaboration, aimed at inventing the future of SP Advertising for Amazon's customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the systems, models, and teams that support SP's advertising customers across multiple marketplaces.
  • Lead a high-performing organization of 115 engineers, scientists, and product managers.
  • Own the APIs that deliver recommendations and optimizations to advertisers through various interfaces and partners.
  • Coordinate with Demand teams including Sales, external partners, tool providers, agencies, and Advertiser Trust to ensure alignment and policy adherence.
  • Develop new programs and initiatives such as a full-funnel advertising experience bridging SP and SB products.
  • Lead the development of LLM-based solutions to simplify advertiser inputs and improve campaign outcomes.
  • Drive technical leadership, product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to invent the future of SP advertising.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of applied science, technical product management, program management, or engineering experience.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience owning roadmap strategy and feature delivery, including tradeoffs.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (preferred).
