About the Role

The Equipment Rental Specialist at Sunbelt Rentals is responsible for supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of construction and industrial equipment. This role serves as the company's front line of contact with customers, aiming to understand their equipment needs, negotiate, and place orders. Key Responsibilities

Support telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of construction and industrial equipment.
Understand customer equipment needs, negotiate, and place rental orders.
Deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times.
Perform administrative tasks related to rental transactions.
Assist in supporting the company's front-line customer service efforts.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
Valid Driver's license required.
Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools and equipment.
Strong customer service and telephone skills.
Solid computer and administrative skills.
Physical ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 pounds or more, and work indoors/outdoors as required.

Nice to Have

Previous equipment rental industry experience.
Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations.
