About the Role

The Equipment Reutilization Solutions (ERS) Business Development Manager is responsible for soliciting new and expanded business to build out the client base for potential third-party local customers who own their own equipment. The role involves reactive service, preventative maintenance, installation, training, and shared services, with a focus on developing sales leads into one-time, repeat, or contracted service accounts. The position supports the growth of the company's equipment reutilization solutions and fosters relationships with customers, equipment manufacturers, and internal teams to drive sales and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the business plan for sales development and growth, providing feedback for plan adjustments and future opportunities.
  • Assist with building project plans for large executions or projects that may be sold in.
  • Maintain responsibility for overall development of sales and closure of new business from prospects, including achievement of regional monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with Coke Consolidated sales team and Equipment Services leadership to seek mutual growth opportunities.
  • Use Customer Relationship Database and other technology to develop and track leads, complete sales, and inspire future opportunities.
  • Research and recommend potential competitive alliances to strengthen market position.
  • Attend trade shows to promote the business to new customers.
  • Build relationships with equipment manufacturers to grow the warranty repair and service network.
  • Complete red surveys to help train local teammates on sales opportunities in the market.

Requirements

  • Possess at least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in sales, customer development, and growth.
  • Ability to build comprehensive presentations in PowerPoint and present confidently to customers and leadership.
  • Ability to extract data from SAP/Salesforce for reporting on local activities.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight, including flying.
  • Sales and customer development knowledge acquired through relevant work experience.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Current knowledge or willingness to gain knowledge about vending, coolers, fountain dispensers, ice machines, beverage dispensers, refrigeration, electrical, and water filtration systems.
  • Ability to balance office work and customer-facing workload effectively.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Sales and customer development experience of 3 to 5 years.
