About the Role

The FSOP Market Development Manager at Swire Coca-Cola is responsible for growing existing accounts and proactively pursuing new business opportunities within the beverage distribution sector. This role involves developing tailored solutions for clients, executing marketing strategies, and building strong relationships to increase revenue and brand presence. Swire Coca-Cola is one of the largest bottlers of Coca-Cola and other beverage brands in America, with a focus on community impact and career growth for its employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect new, competitive business through cold calling and visiting potential clients.
  • Target and develop new business opportunities while maintaining current accounts.
  • Maximize customer revenue potential by understanding their objectives, programs, key strategies, competitors, and consumer targets, then developing collaborative execution plans.
  • Sell and implement campaigns and promotional programming to increase customer sales.
  • Execute look-of-success (LOS) marketing strategies to increase revenue and grow brands.
  • Ensure precise, consistent, and timely communication with internal and external customers.
  • Order equipment and coordinate with the Service team to schedule installation from beginning to end.
  • Build relationships at multiple levels and functions to influence decision makers.
  • Create offers for exclusive beverage agreements through profit analysis and presentations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or sales preferred.
  • 2+ years of outside sales and marketing experience required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license and driving record meeting vehicle policy requirements.
  • Ability to use reliable vehicle for travel and maintain business use vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in sales or marketing within the beverage or distribution industry.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Additional language skills or technical certifications.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or sales preferred.
  • 2+ years of outside sales and marketing experience.
