Key Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to develop the Annual Brand Plan, HCP Engagement Plan, and support the budget allocation process; identify external partners to enhance HCP education.
  • Partner with various teams such as Field, Market Insights, Patient Services, Medical Affairs, and others to develop customer segmentation, align marketing messages, and develop decision support tools.
  • Expand omni-channel HCP engagement tactics, implement performance measurement plans, and optimize impact based on data insights.
  • Lead scientific leader engagement strategies, including speaker bureaus and peer-to-peer programs, and develop relationships with key HCP customers.
  • Represent the company at society and congress meetings, and support sales force execution of educational events.
  • Manage multiple agencies (creative, media, digital, P2P), ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Develop and oversee HCP marketing content that communicates complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners including PRC, Legal, Compliance, and others.
  • Support company meetings, regional sales meetings, and other brand-related activities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative HCP and patient programs, including omni-channel campaigns and peer-to-peer education.
  • Manage external agencies to ensure successful execution of marketing programs aligned with brand strategy.
  • Participate in strategic brand planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
  • Other duties as assigned, including managing promotional activities and providing market and treatment landscape expertise.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in scientific or business discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years in pharmaceutical marketing or sales, managing outside agencies, and executing brand strategies.
  • Or a Master’s/MBA degree with 10+ years of related experience, or a PhD with 8+ years of related experience.
  • Deep knowledge of rare diseases, scientific leader engagement, marketing strategy, market research, segmentation, and tactical planning.
  • Proven success in digital marketing, especially omnichannel campaigns, Next-Best-Action, and partnership with sales teams.
  • Experience executing advisory boards and competitive intelligence activities.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, design relevant KPIs, and monitor performance for optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills for proactive internal and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors effectively.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • High ethical standards, personal integrity, and a can-do leadership mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in endocrinology, pediatrics, or genetic diseases.
  • Experience in launching new therapies and managing scientific leader engagement programs.
  • Experience with medical society, congress, and conference strategy and management.
  • Familiarity with market access and patient marketing integration.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in scientific or business discipline, with 12+ years of experience, or Master’s/MBA with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
  • Experience managing outside agencies and executing strategic marketing plans.
  • Strong digital marketing expertise, especially omnichannel campaigns.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Benefits & Perks

  • Annual base salary range of $195,400 to $282,900.
  • Annual bonus target of 35% of base salary.
