About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join the Cboe Data Vantage team in North America working from our New York City office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business and product development within the financial services industry with a focus on market data distribution, exchange connectivity and trading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and maintain P&L, ROI, financial projections, pricing, and competitive analysis models based on extensive research, data, and industry trends to influence, formulate, and prioritize strategic decisions/direction.
  • Develop the data and connectivity product/commercial strategy that anticipates industry trends, technological advancements, and evolving client requirements.
  • Establish product delivery roadmaps, business development efforts, financial analysis, and performance metrics as needed.
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including data providers, financial institutions, and technology partners.
  • Contribute to financial forecasting, budget process, revenue projections, and business trend analysis.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
  • Identify and assess new product ideas, market opportunities, and current gaps for product roadmap development based on detailed analysis, research, customer feedback, and internal collaboration.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Develop new products and enhance existing ones by consulting with customers to gain insights into their specific needs.
  • Document requirements, meeting notes, agendas, and action items for various stakeholders - both internally and externally as needed.
  • Develop complex pricing models to include multiple variable inputs and outputs to fully assess business impact of various changes.
  • Review and assist in the process of drafting commercial contracts, policies, and legal filings in coordination with the legal team.
  • Manage high-value projects for Cboe Data Vantage business, ensuring the launch of commercially successful products through coordination with internal stakeholders across the organization to make sure products are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Contribute to all aspects of product implementation as required including working with engineering, infrastructure, operations, support, sales, marketing, communications, finance, legal, and compliance.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on product offerings, customer segment targets, use case pricing, and policy requirements with regards to connecting to and receiving data from various Cboe Exchanges.
  • Discuss product suite and solutions with existing and prospective clients to educate them on offerings related to their use cases, technical implementations, and requirements.
  • Attend meetings, conference calls, and provide information to assist the Sales Team in selling Cboe Data products.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Develop Sales collateral, white papers, and other materials with support from Marketing and Communications to communicate product value.
  • Support the Global Business Operations Team through customer onboarding, inquiries, and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years with proven track record in business analysis, product strategy, product management, and project management.
  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience in financial services, particularly with a Financial Data Vendor, Financial Information Provider, Exchange Operator, or Broker-Dealer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to implement large-scale initiatives.
  • Business analysis or similar experience as a foundational framework for the role.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple projects independently.
  • Strong analytical and research skills (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Ability to evaluate, analyze, and summarize information to inform decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service orientation.
  • Team player capable of collaborating across teams and regions.

Nice to Have

  • Sigma and/or data visualization knowledge.
  • Domain expertise in financial services industry, market structure, network connectivity, infrastructure, trading systems, data, indices, and/or financial information platforms.
