Hospital Sales Director

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow hospital volumes, including inpatient admissions, outpatient services, and surgical volumes.
• Engage with physicians and surgeons in the OR, understanding basic OR protocols and procedures.
• Actively prospect for new business and growth opportunities within the hospital environment.
• Identify barriers to growth and communicate these to leadership using CRM systems.
• Manage issue resolution processes and implement solutions to gain or retain business.
• Build data-driven business cases for strategic growth proposals and present them proactively to facility leadership.
• Serve as an extension of hospital leadership and operations, focusing on internal and external customer relationships to increase hospital volumes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in medical sales with specific responsibility for direct sales to physicians (preferred).
• Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships with physicians, surgeons, hospital leadership, EMS, and other healthcare providers.
• Understanding of basic OR protocols and procedures.
• Experience with prospecting for new business and growth in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with CRM systems for communicating barriers to growth and tracking activities.

• Experience in medical sales with direct responsibility for physicians.

Qualifications
