About the Role

The HPI Americas Consumption Sales Director at Intel is a commissioned sales management position leading the Americas Consumption Sales Team on team HPI. The role focuses on growing consumption volume, revenue, and MSS across Intel's full client product portfolio, while accelerating Windows 11 refresh, AI PC adoption, and premium client solutions throughout the region. The position is ideally based in the Santa Clara/Bay Area, with flexibility for other U.S. locations, requiring periodic in-office presence. The role involves partnering with sales engineers, uncovering revenue opportunities, closing design wins, and collaborating with ecosystem partners and internal teams to identify growth opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales applications engineers to align new Intel technologies and product roadmaps with customer strategies.
  • Uncover and nurture emerging revenue opportunities including software, services, and foundry.
  • Close new design win opportunities resulting in billed revenue across Intel's product portfolio.
  • Sell the full portfolio including Commercial and Consumer, Notebook and Desktop, Gaming and Workstation Solutions.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners such as distributors, OEMs, and ISVs to support assigned accounts and maximize business with them.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to identify growth opportunities through account planning and delivery execution.
  • Gather customer feedback to understand drivers of satisfaction and dissatisfaction.
  • Determine root causes of issues/risks and establish recovery action plans to improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed based on business requirements.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult negotiations with senior decision-makers.
  • Experience managing and cultivating senior executive relationships.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong collaboration and influence skills with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset and experience managing diverse teams.
  • Skills in sales pipeline management and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in account planning, resourcing, prioritization, and efficiency skills.
  • Strong business acumen in CCG and PC Client markets, including pricing and MMBP relationships.
  • OEM sales experience, comfortable presenting to large audiences.
  • Adaptability to complex organizational environments and change.
  • Driven, goal-oriented, and a hunter mentality.

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years of working or knowledge of Intel architecture, strategy, and corporate direction.
  • Experience in Commercial and Consumer PC segments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of people management experience.
