About the Role

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO). In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory by selling human resources solutions, making employees' lives better with high-quality benefits offerings across the hire-to-retire spectrum. You will attend award-winning training and work with both new and existing clients to cultivate relationships, assess buyer needs, and manage multiple sales processes from prospecting to implementation. Key Responsibilities

  • Grow Our Business While Growing Yours: Work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top-down sales strategy.
  • Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients: Close sales by recommending the right solutions to help clients understand and solve their real business needs, and earn referral business through networking with existing and potential clients.
  • Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family: Cross-sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and ambassador to clients and internal partners.
  • Collaborate Daily: Demonstrate grace under pressure and uphold high ethical standards while serving as a trusted partner to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Positive Self-Starter: Upbeat, persistent, able to cold call without fear of rejection, manage time well, prioritize, and multi-task effectively.
  • Strategic Closer: Established network and experience carrying a sales quota in outside B2B sales, with a proven track record of closing sales and managing relationships.
  • Proven Winner: Ambitious, thrives under pressure, motivated to exceed sales quotas, with or without a college degree.
  • Experience: At least three years of results-driven business-to-business sales experience (preferably field sales) or military experience demonstrating teamwork, resilience, negotiation, and trust-building skills.
  • Bonus: Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales.

Qualifications

  • A college degree is not required; relevant experience can include three years of B2B sales or military experience.
