About the Role

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO). In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory, working with both new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Grow Our Business While Growing Yours: Work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top-down sales strategy.
  • Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients: Close sales by recommending the right solutions to help clients understand and solve their real business needs. Network with existing and potential clients to generate referrals and forge partnerships in-person and over the phone with decision-makers.
  • Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family: Cross-sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts and build long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate Daily: Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal teams, and your network, demonstrating professionalism, grace under pressure, and high ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Positive Self-Starter: Upbeat, persistent, able to cold call without fear of rejection, manage time well, prioritize, multi-task, and communicate ideas clearly and professionally.
  • Strategic Closer: Experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales, with an established network and a proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory and relationships.
  • Proven Winner: Ambitious, thrives under pressure, motivated to exceed sales quotas. A college degree is preferred but not required; alternative experience includes three years of results-driven B2B sales or military experience with relevant skills.
  • Bonus points for the ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales.

Qualifications

  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • Three years of business-to-business sales experience (preferably field sales) within a results-driven environment.
  • Military experience with skills including teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a 'never lose' mentality.
