Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, administrators, and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure alignment of IT solutions with organizational goals.
  • Manage project team members, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and support.
  • Identify and address potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure that all IT projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication among stakeholders, project team members, and senior management. Provide regular updates on project status and progress.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, and records.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within a health care setting.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and other health care IT applications.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
