IT Program Manager - Products (US-O)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with key business and IT executive teams, vendors, and partners critical to product success.
• Perform customer research to gain insight into the "voice of the customer" and understand how customers will gain value.
• Perform competitive analysis on alternatives that target customers might use to understand necessary product capabilities and qualities.
• Facilitate and drive alignment among key stakeholders to develop a product strategy, vision, and roadmap using analytics and customer insights.
• Define a release strategy from prototypes to MVP and subsequent releases, adapting as needed within an agile delivery process.
• Work with stakeholders to make frequent prioritization decisions based on product analytics, team metrics, and customer feedback.
• Grow awareness of the product and ensure its value and costs are understood across the organization.
• Understand inter-dependencies between products.
• Act as the "keeper (and communicator) of the vision" to translate product strategy into daily team priorities.
• Define the product roadmap based on business outcomes and capabilities needed to achieve those outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with product delivery teams, providing regular feedback and helping make decisions informed by the product vision and budget.
• Coordinate with stakeholders such as business, data, and IT architects to align architectures and capabilities, managing technical debt.
• Work within the product budget, balancing resources for research, analysis, vision development, and delivery.
• Develop proposals, reports, BCAs, and presentations relevant to the product.
• Ensure all product components meet financial standards, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery.
• Work with stakeholders to develop and refine business and pricing models.
• Track product usage and report findings to stakeholders.
• Develop customer demo materials and evaluate onboarding requirements.
• Balance divisional goals with market trends, establishing regional policies and strategies for product management.
• Develop product management processes, templates, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Business Administration.
• 5-7 years' experience in IT and business/industry.
• 3+ years' experience in roles with increasing responsibilities across business and IT.
• Demonstrated experience engaging executives and stakeholders to support business decisions.
