The role involves supporting decision-making through research programs focused on retail impact and omnichannel shopping experiences, partnering with external vendors for quick-turn research, and developing insights to inform marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of the Retail Tracking program, ensuring robust methodologies, timely execution, and actionable insights
  • Manage the creation and delivery of strategic Omnichannel Shopper Insights for the Digital Growth team
  • Design, manage, and deploy quick turn research with speed and precision in partnership with trusted vendors
  • Possess expert knowledge within the marketing research field (both qualitative and quantitative approaches, sampling, and data analysis) and the ability to integrate critical information from many diverse areas
  • Ensure high-quality data collection, analysis, and synthesis, leveraging a wide range of best-in-class market research and advanced analytics techniques
  • Translate raw data into meaningful insights, crafting compelling narratives that drive business impact
  • Prepare presentation materials with clear reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to support findings
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a persuasive, passionate, and articulate manner
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure research efforts are aligned with business needs
  • Manage multiple, simultaneous research programs with support from outside research firms
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data, insights, and form recommendations related to marketing and shopper experience tactics

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Market Research professional
  • Experience assessing methodological options and recommending Market Research approaches that answer key business questions in a quick and cost-effective manner
  • A critical thinker with experience crafting easy to follow, 'voice of the customer' centric stories for business stakeholders that enable them to drive actions and decisioning
  • Ability to multitask and deliver multiple simultaneous projects on time with high quality
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator and partner to internal stakeholders to drive alignment and influence decision making and action plans
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and extract critical insights and implications
  • Clear communication skills (verbally and in writing) and confidence in presenting insights
  • BS/BA degree required or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred

Nice to Have

  • 3+ years of experience working for a 3rd Party Primary Research Provider
  • Prior experience running shopper and quick-turn research programs
