The role of the Lubricants Marketing Manager is to connect target audiences with custom-manufactured products through driving brand awareness, creating brand loyalty, and problem solving to drive profitable growth and increase revenue across divisions and member companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and support GROWMARK Lubricants go-to-market technology and industry understanding, co-develop product marketing initiatives, create engaging content, and oversee marketing projects from concept to execution in collaboration with the Enterprise Marketing team.
  • Manage marketing documents within the lubricants division, ensuring systematic organization, version control, and distribution across multiple websites in collaboration with the Enterprise Marketing team and Production and Design team.
  • Coordinate the design, production, and ordering of product labels, brochures, mailers, and other sales collateral with members, the Council Bluffs production plant, and branded distributors, involving external vendors and internal teams.
  • Work with member companies and branded distributors through their account managers to assist with the effective use of marketing and sales funds.
  • Plan and execute training sessions and meetings, including coordinating presenters, topics, logistics, preparing agendas, developing slides, conducting live presentations, and uploading training materials for broader access.
  • Coordinate market research requests, compile data with internal/external teams, and present findings to relevant stakeholders, including customers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for marketing inquiries across lubricant sites, responding directly or routing to appropriate individuals.
  • Prepare agendas for internal updates, present progress on plans, develop action items, and coordinate updates with relevant parties.
  • Handle marketing production requests (design, print, etc.), coordinating with internal or external resources.
  • Engage in personal development opportunities through industry training to stay current with marketing trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sciences, or communications, or the equivalent thereof.
  • Five or more years of marketing-related work experience in a technical capacity.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and passport, with the ability to work extended hours and travel independently overnight.
  • Professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Planning, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven computer skills and proficiency in current business software, graphics programs, and web-based applications.
  • Willingness to participate in required training related to company policies and position requirements.

  • Experience with marketing initiatives in the lubricants or agricultural sectors.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific marketing technology and tools.
