Manager, Consumer Insights & Analytics - Stamford, CT. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy to achieve business and commercial success for PMI's smoke-free product portfolio.
  • Plan and implement custom market research studies among legal age nicotine users, connecting insights with business needs.
  • Coordinate with research partners from drafting briefs to finalizing contracts and managing projects.
  • Uncover actionable insights on brand dynamics, advertising effectiveness, consumer experiences, and product/category needs.
  • Develop and evaluate questionnaires, analyze raw data, craft reports, and deliver results to various organizational levels.
  • Work with sophisticated data sets, understanding their implications for the business, and utilize data platforms such as Excel, PowerBI, and SPSS.
  • Build consumer research narratives and visualize data to drive business impact.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Commutable distance to Stamford, CT.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in consumer insights within CPG or consumer research agency.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Marketing, or Research.
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies including survey development, segmentation, ethnographies, focus groups, and brand tracking.
  • Proficient in extracting insights from both quantitative and qualitative data, connecting multiple data sources, and making informed recommendations.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in statistical packages such as SPSS.
  • Experience working with sophisticated data sets and data platforms like PowerBI and Excel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Marketing, or Research.
