Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and grow the Content Marketing team, including coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans to drive new business, customer expansion, and brand awareness in the mass notification market.
  • Write marketing content for websites, blogs, press releases, social media, and other channels.
  • Work closely with departmental leadership to identify key customer issues and develop cross-industry and cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Track the effectiveness of marketing activities to ensure they deliver value.
  • Ensure all marketing communications meet brand and quality standards, serving as the final approver for outbound content.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the company's website, blog, and outbound communications.
  • Assist in managing and updating the company's client database and CRM systems (Salesforce and Pardot).

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building and managing a marketing team, preferably at an early-stage growth company.
  • Expert knowledge of core B2B marketing concepts and competencies.
  • Highly skilled in positioning and communications, with the ability to create content across different media.
  • Understanding of marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to analyze campaign results and consumer trends.
  • Fluent in digital product marketing, including digital advertising, website, SEO, content, and automation.
  • Experience working with websites (Squarespace, WordPress), marketing automation platforms (Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot), and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Strong attention to detail and familiarity with AP Style.
  • Operational mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, products, and systems quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in smaller or mid-sized companies.
  • People management experience leading multiple direct reports in different marketing roles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in content marketing in a B2B environment
