About the Role

The Manager, Demand Generation at UpGuard is a key role within the marketing organization, responsible for executing strategic, high-impact campaigns that drive engagement and pipeline growth. The role involves blending audience insights, product value propositions, AI-enabled content workflows, and account-based strategies to deliver personalized, multi-channel programs. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Sales, Business Development, and RevOps to orchestrate demand programs that convert and scale. UpGuard's mission is to protect the world's data by providing a best-in-class SaaS platform for managing third-party risk and external attack surface, with a focus on building a scalable marketing engine and a leading brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and scale integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, email, phone, paid, in-product experiences, and field channels, tailored to the buyer's journey, segments, and regional nuances.
  • Apply an account-based lens to campaign planning, leveraging firmographic, technographic, and intent data to guide targeting and personalization.
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Sales, and Revenue Operations to align campaigns with strategic accounts and buying committees.
  • Use AI tools and workflow automation platforms like n8n to streamline content creation, automate workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Adapt campaign tactics based on regional buyer behavior and channel performance to maximize effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze key funnel metrics to assess campaign impact, optimize performance, and improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to deliver lead insights, relevant content, and coordinated follow-up plays to support revenue outcomes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years in B2B SaaS marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with understanding of funnel metrics and campaign analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered content tools, such as Gemini and Unify GTM.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a drive to move quickly in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Interest in cybersecurity or ability to ramp quickly in a technical domain.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with LLM-assisted content workflows and marketing automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or similar platforms.
  • Experience designing and running demand generation campaigns in both product-led and sales-led environments.
  • Proven success operating in fast-paced startup environments with agility to pivot strategies.
  • Strong cross-functional influence, especially in aligning marketing with Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, and RevOps.
