About the Role

Work is Sweet! See's Candies, a leader in the confectionery industry since 1921 with over 250 retail shops across the USA, is seeking a Manager of Marketing Technology & Solutions. The role involves strategizing, planning, and managing marketing technology initiatives, including Marketing Cloud and related database functions, to enhance customer experience, increase acquisition, retention, and purchase frequency. The company emphasizes quality, customer service, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize and maintain a Marketing Cloud database that supports marketing initiatives related to email, journeys, and predictive marketing.
  • Serve as system/application owner and subject matter expert for Marketing Cloud, including building reports, managing data extensions, and leading strategy, development, and maintenance of Journeys.
  • Develop and standardize segmentation methodology for multiple channels including email marketing.
  • Assist with campaign strategy and planning across email, text, mobile app, and direct mail channels.
  • Evaluate business solutions and lead cross-functional implementation of new programs with internal teams and external partners.
  • Develop new program features, promotions, and initiatives to meet KPIs and support rollout across customer touchpoints including shops, e-commerce, CRM, mobile, social, and digital channels.
  • Evaluate and implement a Customer Data Platform (CDP) and strategy for customer loyalty program elements across online, mobile, and in-store channels.
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and re-engagement through email, SMS, and other tactics.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analysis to measure program performance and inform future strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance technology and innovation to improve departmental effectiveness.
  • Protect and manage the See's brand at all times.
  • Perform special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Cloud-based marketing, Loyalty, CRM, or Direct Marketing.
  • Experience managing vendors to achieve program goals.
  • Working understanding of databases.
  • Strong analyst and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Self-starter with strong planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change proactively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related work experience in lieu of degree.

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin Certification.
  • Basic understanding of SQL, AMPscript, and HTML.
  • Experience in multi-channel retail industry.
