Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of comprehensive marketing and sales data to identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges specific to consumer and household products.
  • Provide strategic recommendations that directly impact marketing spend, product positioning, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust measurement frameworks for digital and traditional marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth performance analysis, including ROI and sales attribution modeling, for media, shopper, and e-commerce initiatives.
  • Synthesize large, disparate datasets from various sources, including web analytics platforms, CRM, media platforms, sales data, and shopper panel data, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Design, develop, and automate dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Present complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests for marketing campaigns and website experiences, analyzing results for actionable insights.
  • Partner with Marketing, Brand, Sales, Product Development, and IT teams to understand business needs and integrate insights into strategic planning.
  • Conduct deep-dive ad-hoc analyses on specific business questions, competitive landscapes, keyword performance, and social listening.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing analytics within the consumer and household products (CPG) sector.
  • Proven experience analyzing and reporting on digital marketing efforts, including website performance, media campaigns, and e-commerce sales.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 or Adobe Analytics, including raw data extraction and validation.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation from various databases.
  • Experience with statistical programming languages such as Python or R for advanced analytics and automation.
  • Hands-on experience working with datasets like sales data (IRI, Nielsen, Retail Link), shopper panel data (Numerator, Nielsen Panel), e-commerce data, CRM data, and media platform data.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methodologies, A/B testing principles, and marketing mix modeling.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multivariate testing and marketing mix modeling.
  • Knowledge of data integration and data management in cloud environments.
  • Experience with data quality monitoring and statistical modeling.
  • Mentoring experience with junior analysts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Marketing Analytics.
