About the Role

The Manager, Sports Brand Solutions supports Disney Advertising Sales by providing expertise on sports properties such as Fantasy Sports, Streaming, ESPN Films, College Football, NBA, and more. The role involves creating cross-platform sponsorship opportunities, managing sponsorship deliverables, and working closely with internal teams to maximize revenue across ESPN's sports content portfolio, especially focusing on streaming platforms and DTC initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Director and Senior Manager in driving sponsorship opportunities across the Disney/ESPN platform for DTC & Streaming, ESPN Films, and ESPN Originals.
  • Develop cross-platform sponsorship packages including TV, Digital, Social, and On-Site Activations.
  • Support and ideate strategies for new sales opportunities related to ESPN Direct To Consumer Partnerships and product enhancements.
  • Maintain digital video, streaming, and storytelling insights and data projects to support sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with SBS teams to guide streaming/video strategy and sport-specific opportunities, especially regarding DTC evolution.
  • Manage post-sale efforts related to sold sponsorships and ensure successful launch and troubleshooting.
  • Create and distribute sponsorship graphics and assets in partnership with colleagues.
  • Serve as Ad Sales liaison to Production/Content and Digital Product teams, and grow relationships with content partners.
  • Lead creative discussions for custom content development related to ESPN Films and Originals.
  • Navigate ESPN/ESPN+ projects with internal content and legal teams.
  • Collaborate on ad innovations, formats, and new sponsorship opportunities with various internal teams.
  • Advise on ad experiences and innovations tied to sports inventory.
  • Develop sales materials for sports ad innovations and assist sales in pitching and negotiating sponsorship deals.
  • Participate in client meetings and calls as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring responsiveness and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in digital ad sales with a focus on sponsorship, monetization, or operations.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • Solution-oriented professional with leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work independently, think proactively, and be accountable.
  • Strong time management and detail orientation.
  • Strong presentation skills and professional maturity.
