About the Role

We are a forward-thinking company in the automotive manufacturing industry seeking a strategic and dynamic Marketing and Communications Manager. This role involves leading marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, support sales growth, and communicate our innovation and leadership within the industry. The position requires developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies, managing brand messaging, overseeing digital campaigns, and coordinating events, all while collaborating with various internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Interact with Commercial and Product teams as well as customers to learn product and market needs for brand management.
  • Interact with Investor Relations (IR) team to ensure alignment with corporate strategic messaging.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and materials.
  • Oversee and coordinate the development, creation, and implementation of marketing collateral, promotional content, technical sales literature, catalogs, product brochures, and digital content for online and printed media.
  • Coordinate all promotional items purchased for the aftermarket group.
  • Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and executive messaging in coordination with IR.
  • Coordinate with IR regarding corporate website updates to align with the investor relations section of the website.
  • Manage responses to electronic communications received via email, social media, and other online sources, and provide investor inquiries to IR.
  • Oversee activities with industry trade publications including sales and technical articles.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead digital campaigns including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media.
  • Review websites and social media pages regularly to ensure content optimization, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Develop and maintain social media campaigns using input from various company areas.
  • Design or supervise the design of digital images, banners, charts, and graphics to enhance website appearance.
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize for ROI.
  • Report on digital metrics and create KPIs to monitor digital tactics' success.
  • Apply knowledge of database design standards and management.
  • Plan and execute trade shows, product launches, and customer events.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful event delivery.
  • Represent the company in meetings with outside partners including customers and vendors.
  • Manage and mentor team members and external agencies.
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and executive leadership.
  • Manage budgets and expenditures related to marketing communications.
  • Maintain knowledge of automotive industry trends and regulatory environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding and technical competency of digital marketing tools and analytics, including web analytics, online media, usability, eCommerce, and Web 2.0.
  • Experience in Search Engine Marketing, PPC, and SEO strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn in particular).
  • Ability to interact proactively with peers and management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with digital photography and videography.
