About the Role

The Marketing Strategist - Consumer at Valley Bank is responsible for developing and implementing full-funnel marketing strategies aimed at delivering profitable growth. The role involves collaborating with various teams to optimize marketing efforts, monitor performance, and research competitor activity, all within the banking, insurance, and financial services industries.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and build full-funnel marketing strategies designed to deliver profitable growth.
Establish a framework for growth with the intent to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding across the lines of business.
Partner with the internal data & analytics team to lead the reporting of performance, financial profitability, and test results.
Construct and manage a robust test and learn agenda to maximize production while driving efficiency and profitability.
Partner with content, creative, Legal, Compliance, and other teams to optimize efforts and drive incremental value.
Research and monitor competitor activity.

Requirements

Experience in developing marketing strategies that focus on growth and profitability.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including data, content, legal, and creative teams.
Strong analytical skills to lead performance reporting and test result analysis.
Knowledge of the banking, insurance, or financial services industries is preferred.
Excellent research and competitive analysis skills.
