About the Role

The National Business Director (NBD) at Amplity Health is responsible for the strategy, performance, and financial success of the program. This role involves collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, leading a team of sales managers and representatives, and supporting client program goals. The NBD oversees employee performance standards, ensures program metrics are met or exceeded, and acts as a key business partner to clients. Amplity is a full-service biopharma partner delivering medical and commercial services, with a mission to improve patient outcomes through executional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales managers and representatives to achieve and/or exceed revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities for growth and increased revenue.
  • Create and manage budgets for sales initiatives and provide ongoing reporting and analysis to the executive team.
  • Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies to achieve client and corporate goals.
  • Communicate team objectives in ways that promote teamwork and a shared sense of goals among team members.
  • Plan and facilitate required meetings effectively.
  • Evaluate employee territory performance and monitor productivity, metrics, workload, and output, ensuring policy compliance and addressing issues through corrective actions.
  • Ensure all candidate interviews and hired employees are managed in an EEO compliant manner.
  • Maintain required technical and product expertise, including competitive knowledge.
  • Ensure full compliance with all laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines relevant to the role.
  • Complete all required client and product training successfully.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • At least 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales leadership experience on a regional or national level; 5+ years preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience developing and managing budgets for sales teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Valid US driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
  • Residence near a major airport.
  • Field credentialing requirements, including potential licensing in specific jurisdictions.

  • Pediatrics experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in pharmaceutical sales leadership.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
