About the Role

The National Business Director (NBD) at Amplity Health is responsible for the strategy, performance, and financial success of the program. The role involves collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, leading a team of sales managers and representatives, and ensuring program goals, metrics, and financial measurements are achieved or exceeded. This is a second line leadership position, with first line leaders reporting to the NBD, and requires overseeing employee performance and maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and policies. Amplity Health is a full-service partner of biopharma companies, delivering medical and commercial services to improve patient outcomes through strategic partnerships and therapeutic expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of sales managers and representatives to achieve and/or exceed revenue targets.
Analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities for growth and increased revenue.
Create and manage budgets for sales initiatives and provide ongoing reporting and analysis to the executive team.
Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies to achieve client and corporate goals.
Communicate team objectives in ways that promote teamwork and shared goals among team members.
Evaluate employee territory performance and monitor productivity, metrics, workload, and output, ensuring compliance and addressing issues through corrective actions.
Ensure all candidate interviews and hired employees are managed in an EEO compliant manner.
Maintain required technical and product expertise including competitive knowledge.
Ensure full compliance with all laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines, including privacy and data regulations.
Successfully complete all required client and product training.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
A minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience.
At least 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales leadership experience on a regional or national level, with 5+ years preferred.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Strong strategic, analytical, and data analysis skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
Experience developing and managing budgets for sales teams.
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
Valid US driver's license with a safe driving record.
Willingness to travel nationally.
Residence near a major airport.

Pediatrics experience.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Submission and maintenance of credentials such as training, vaccinations, or other job-related documentation for hospital or healthcare provider access, especially in certain jurisdictions.
