About the Role

The Paid Social Media Assistant role at Active International is a hybrid position based in NYC, supporting paid social media campaigns through ad trafficking, setup, monitoring, reporting, and billing. The role involves assisting social media buyers, supporting client communication, and contributing to key projects within the in-platform operations team. The ideal candidate is multi-task-oriented, passionate about new technology and media channels, and eager to learn and grow within the digital media team at Involved Media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports digital team on all aspects of paid social campaign management and ad optimization.
  • Builds personal/technical expertise to understand client's marketing objectives and technology platforms.
  • Stays informed of the latest buying platform developments and new ad opportunities.
  • Supports media buyers in pre-campaign responsibilities, including gathering creative assets and tracking instructions.
  • Provides guidance on creative development, specs, and best practices.
  • Identifies targeting and platform opportunities based on brand parameters and KPIs.
  • Assists in campaign setup and launch, ensuring ad tags, budgets, targeting, and creative are correctly loaded.
  • Ensures creatives are approved before campaign launch.
  • Assists in campaign management, including timely optimizations and monitoring pacing.
  • Performs regular QA checks.
  • Coordinates campaign reporting, analyzes performance, and builds custom reports and strategies.
  • Provides ongoing insights based on campaign analysis and participates in research compilation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience or internship (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Facebook Business Manager, Ads Manager, Power Editor, Snap Ads, Twitter Ads platform, TikTok, YouTube (a plus).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Personal drive for excellence, knowledge, and acquiring new skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager, Ads Manager, Power Editor, Snap Ads, Twitter Ads platform, TikTok, YouTube.
