About the Role

The Children's Home of Lubbock is seeking a Part Time Social Media Coordinator to manage and create content for various social media platforms, supporting the organization's communication and outreach efforts. The role involves collaborating with staff and PRC to develop engaging content and maintain a proactive posting schedule, with a focus on photography and videography skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with PRC to create content and run all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Work alongside campus staff to create content for all social media platforms.
  • Maintain a proactive calendar for all social media postings and deadlines set by the Director of Development (DOD).
  • Create content that aligns with the organization's communication goals.
  • Manage social media content scheduling and ensure timely posting.

Requirements

  • Experience with photography and videography.
  • Ability to create social media content for multiple platforms.
  • Experience with content creation and social media content scheduling.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule of 20-30 hours, including occasional weekends.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with co-workers and other necessary personnel.
  • Meet licensing standards including a criminal background check and tuberculosis screening.
  • Exhibit behavior and health status that does not present a danger to young adults in care.
  • Able to perform assigned tasks physically, mentally, and emotionally.

  • Experience working with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube.
