About the Role

The Senior Partner Account Manager will drive and lead the fostering, nurturing, growth and development with our largest and most strategic Financial Technology (Fintech) Partners. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with Fintech Strategic Partners, working to drive new significant revenue through customer acquisition into the SMB Market globally (NA, UKI, EU, ZA). The position includes developing activities to identify, develop, and administer strategic Fintech partnerships, creating new revenue streams, and supporting a growing ecosystem of deeply integrated partnerships within Sage's software offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and development of wider Fintech Partnership Strategy.
  • Identify and secure commercial relationships with Fintech ISVs that are fully integrated/delivered as core features of the Sage product set globally.
  • Identify and implement partner integrations in the market.
  • Achieve expected new customer adoption, £8-10m in payments revenues and customer goals, by defining and driving acquisition activities.
  • Stay informed of current local marketplace trends in Fintech and act as the SME for internal Sage stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the overall vision, strategy, and execution plan for partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize value of partnerships and revenues.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, legal and financial agreements such as NDAs & MSAs.
  • Manage ongoing day-to-day relationships with Strategic Fintech Partners, including communication on system performance, product enhancements, marketing, demand/lead generation activities, and operational performance.
  • Ensure partner performance aligns with contractual terms and revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or 5+ years of work experience in a consulting role or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a consulting role focused on revenue growth, business transformation, or operational optimization.
  • Proven ability to develop end-to-end strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong ability to analyze financial data, market trends, and sales performance to generate insights.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term revenue growth strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, marketing strategies, customer lifecycle management, and revenue-generating activities.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives and stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly identify challenges and devise creative, data-backed solutions to improve business performance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Fintech or financial technology partnerships.
  • Knowledge of SaaS product ecosystems and integration strategies.
  • Experience negotiating legal and financial agreements such as NDAs and MSAs.
