About the Role

The Partner Business Development Manager (PBDM) is a partner-funded role focused on accelerating joint growth between Insight and our strategic vendor partners. This position is responsible for deepening alignment between Insight's sales teams and partner sales organizations across all segments. The role involves identifying high-value opportunities, coordinating go-to-market activities, and expanding mutual footprint within targeted accounts. Through strategic planning and relationship-building, this role drives profitable growth and strengthens vendor partnerships. Insight is a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator with expertise in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge, guiding organizations through complex digital decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong alignment between Insight and partner sales teams to drive co-selling opportunities and maximize partner program engagement.
  • Champion partner solutions by organizing enablement sessions, strategic account planning meetings, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Expand account-level Share of Wallet (SOW) by executing sales strategies across assigned territories via in-person or virtual engagements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Insight's inside and field sales leadership to ensure unified partner engagement.
  • Present business updates, growth strategies, and campaign outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets including revenue, pipeline development, and activity metrics.
  • Deliver monthly reporting on wins, losses, obstacles, and new opportunities, with actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of five years of related channel IT experience in a dynamic sales environment managing accounts of significant size.
  • Preference for further experience within Data & AI.
  • Must have Tier 1 vendor experience and knowledge.
  • Must have excellent proven prospecting and cold calling skills.
  • Must be able to show a proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas.
  • Knowledge of specific Lenovo products is a must.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within Data & AI is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of related channel IT experience managing significant accounts.
