About the Role

The Partnership Sales Director at Club Champion is a results-driven role focused on leading the growth and optimization of the company's nationwide network of PGA professionals and golf industry partners. The role involves building relationships, closing high-impact deals, and driving revenue through a performance-based model, with a strong emphasis on the golf industry and partner acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new partner acquisition efforts with a focus on PGA professionals, country club GMs, golf academies, ranges, and other golf associated partners.
  • Cold call, prospect, pitch, and close strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Act as the face of Club Champion to the golf industry to evangelize the program.
  • Develop referral pipelines that lead to quantifiable fittings and club sales.
  • Develop partnerships around new stores to help drive first year revenue.
  • Help identify potential non-traditional fitting locations.
  • Nurture existing relationships to drive excitement, referrals, and year-over-year transaction improvement.
  • Establish strong, long-term relationships with partners; ensure alignment of incentives and brand values.
  • Provide ‘white glove' customer service including outstanding follow-up communications on questions and service needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales Ops teams to optimize onboarding and engagement through the Partner Portal and other tools.
  • Support partners in promoting Club Champion services to their clients through education, sales tools, and marketing assets.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for all things PGA Partnership-related.
  • Track and report on KPIs including partner sales, new partner acquisition, referral bookings, and overall partner program performance for year-over-year improvement and to budget.
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, and Fitter Sales to streamline partner communications and incentive structures.
  • Represent Club Champion professionally at events, trainings, and presentations across the country.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B sales, business development, or partnership management experience — preferably in golf, sports, or adjacent industries.
  • Deep golf industry knowledge and credibility — experience as a PGA professional, club rep, or industry sales leader is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of accountability and exceeding performance targets in an outbound sales role.
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence in front of high-level stakeholders in the golf community.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and modern sales enablement tools.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%) to events, presentations, and partner sites across the U.S.
  • Personal character that is accountable and open to feedback with tenacious customer service skills.
  • Prior experience working with independent golf reps or managing a rep network.
  • Existing relationships with PGA sections, country clubs, or top-tier instructors.
  • Experience launching or growing affiliate or ambassador programs in golf or sporting goods.
  • College degree preferred.

  • Salary range of $125,000 to $175,000 annually, based on relevant factors.
