Product Manager - Data License Platform

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build the next generation of data delivery platforms critical for end user workflows and processes.
• Manage and validate stakeholder requests for new products and enhancements, gathering requirements down to the most basic needs and ensuring reusability.
• Work with Engineering, UX, QA, Sales, and Service organizations to ensure product concepts meet all needs, present to senior management, and liaise with stakeholders and third parties.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to identify user needs in the market data space and ideate on potential solutions.
• Manage prioritization of production bugs as needed.
• Collaborate with other Web Product Managers to envision, define, and communicate the product roadmap.
• Evangelize the product vision with new ideas and features.
• Perform measurement and data-driven prioritization of features that meet audience and business needs; set minimal viable product releases.
• Promote Agile product management processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in the FinTech space dealing with data needs for financial products.
• Experience launching and managing a production system with several petabytes of data on-premises or on Cloud, from ideation to production.
• Iterative approach starting with a PoC that demonstrates how a Cloud-based service can solve a problem and evaluating multiple options.
• Comfortable with defining and running tests to make decisions that shape the product.
• Defined product vision along with short-term and long-term roadmaps.
• Demonstrable examples of a user-first approach.
• Ability to articulate product technical solutions to development resources without coding experience.
• Led product initiatives collaborating with different groups to achieve goals and successful product launches.
• Hands-on development experience with pipelines or applications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks Cloud Platforms is a bonus.

Nice to Have

• Deep knowledge about how users use your products.
• Experience organizing usability tests and condensing key takeaways for executives.
• Ability to read and synthesize product metrics to make suggestions and defend positions based on measured results.
• Familiarity with new technological trends to lead team adoption for new products.

• Experience with launching and managing large-scale data systems in a financial technology environment.

• Salary range of $140,000 - $295,000 USD annually plus benefits and bonus.
