About the Role

The Uber One team is looking for a strategic yet scrappy product leader to transform how members discover and use the benefits they've signed up for. The role focuses on building seamless benefit onboarding experiences, education, and engagement prompts to help members understand and maximize the value of Uber One. With over 40 million members globally, this position offers an opportunity to shape a world-class membership experience that enhances user engagement and loyalty across Uber's diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and refining the Uber One member experience that captures new users and drives engagement
  • Enhancing user engagement for our members by creating an educational and informative onboarding experience that creates awareness about each benefit and the value it brings
  • Defining, owning, and executing the product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Operations
  • Partnering with engineers to communicate product requirements, oversee feature development, and ensure timely releases
  • Working with teams like core product, user research, and design to develop product specifications that improve the membership program
  • Running experiments and monitoring the performance of new features to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for iteration

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience delivering successful and innovative products
  • Prior experience setting and delivering on a strategy with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Creative thinking about engaging and fun features and experiences for users
  • Ability to gather research and insights to drive deeper engagement across the Uber platform
  • Strong data skills to analyze and use data for decision-making without analysis paralysis
  • Experience collaborating with engineers on technical architecture and scope tradeoffs
  • Ability to craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy, and quarterly roadmap
  • Passion for building businesses, owning user metrics, and optimizing business performance metrics
  • Scrappy, curious, and teachable mindset focused on consumer customer experience

  • Hold a high bar for contributions, team, and product quality
  • Experience running experiments and iterating based on key business metrics
