About the Role

The Associate Director of Brand Management for Visible at Verizon will lead a team to define growth strategies for the Visible brand within the Verizon Value Portfolio. This role involves analyzing business performance, consumer insights, and the competitive landscape to develop and launch new value propositions, products, and promotions. The position is focused on driving excitement, passion, change, and growth for a digitally-centric brand, contributing to Verizon's mission of connecting people with innovative wireless solutions and enhancing lives through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the Visible brand growth strategy and roadmap that outlines new value propositions, products, and promotions.
  • Aligning Verizon Value Organization (VVO) leadership to brand strategies designed for growth of the Visible business while also driving customer retention and churn improvements.
  • Identifying growth target segments for Visible based on customer research to understand pain points and insights for stronger value propositions.
  • Working closely with the research and insights team to stay close to consumer insights, industry trends, and competitive threats.
  • Developing strong partnerships among all VVO functions and communicating brand strategy, objectives, targets, and initiatives to drive cohesive cross-functional plans.
  • Monitoring business performance and leading analysis across sales and marketing to optimize programs or develop new initiatives.
  • Providing strategic brand counsel to guide decision-making within cross-functional strategies.
  • Identifying key growth initiatives (Big Rocks) and continuously optimizing them to meet business priorities.
  • Leading the definition of business assumptions and rules for growth initiatives, securing leadership alignment and approval.
  • Developing high-quality briefs for stakeholders and overseeing the execution and performance of key initiatives.
  • Partnering with Integrated Marketing to support marketing plans and ensure successful launch of initiatives.
  • Fostering a positive team environment, sharing passion for the brand, and nurturing team development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Eight or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in brand strategy.
  • Understanding of digital and growing digital trends.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, data, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office.

  • MBA.
  • Understanding of Verizon processes and systems.
  • Experience in telecommunications or CPG.
  • Strong project management skills and multi-tasking ability.
  • Experience managing and influencing client relationships at the senior executive level.
  • Ability to present to all levels of management and influence without direct authority.
  • Impeccable managerial skills, excellent communication skills, and executive presence.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant work experience of at least 8 years.
