Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize creative skills to design, develop, and implement the product marketing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for SMISSLINE and ProLine Energy Distribution products.
  • Own the respective product portfolio for all marketing and business development activities in the US.
  • Lead communication and messaging of product value propositions in alignment with ABB's global product marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate with other functional areas of the business to achieve KPIs for the product lines in scope.
  • Create, plan, and ensure implementation of the US go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and positioning.
  • Oversee progress and define improvement actions to ensure achievement of targets related to demand orders, growth margin, net price variance, NPS, inventory turn, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans in collaboration with relevant business units and product groups.
  • Develop business plans focused on driving profitable growth in the low voltage distribution and protection market.
  • Evaluate market opportunities, determine appropriate activities aligned with overall strategy, and coordinate opportunities across divisions and business units.
  • Ensure balanced growth across all product lines, groups, and business units.
  • Create product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing a value-based selling approach.
  • Develop and implement product support and training initiatives to ensure high customer satisfaction in collaboration with global marketing and sales teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree (Electrical Engineering or related field preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Product Management, or Product Marketing Management in a related electrical products/application industry.
  • Experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to perform competitive analysis.
  • Travel up to 30-50% required.
  • Candidates must have work authorization to work for ABB in the USA.

Nice to Have

  • Six Sigma or equivalent training in process and quality assurance methodology.
  • Experience with customer relations via service, visits, relationships, etc.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in electrical products/application industry.
