About the Role

The Marketing team develops executive content strategies to generate brand and product awareness, build relationships with clients, and investigate trends to make tailored recommendations. The Product Marketing Principal role involves positioning private equity strategies to various client segments and building out the global private equity product marketing platform.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a dedicated point of contact to work with the Private Equity business teams on all marketing-related matters globally.
Lead bi-weekly meetings with teams to provide updates, confirm priorities, and discuss obstacles or challenges.
Partner with Sales, Product, and Investment team members to create and execute strategic marketing plans including content and event strategies, campaigns, and foundational materials.
Develop compelling programs and campaigns to attract and engage clients, raising awareness in a crowded market.
Partner with channel marketing to repackage content and create campaigns tailored to different sales channels and target audiences.
Define and refine product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for private equity offerings across investor segments.
Lead the content development process with investment professionals, product strategy, sales, and communications teams to produce educational and client-centric content.
Manage all formats of content including videos, short-form content, educational materials, and more.
Serve as project manager for marketing projects, coordinating stakeholders and providing updates.
Track, analyze, and socialize engagement analytics and campaign performance with stakeholders.
Stay informed on competitor messaging and market trends to guide differentiated marketing strategies.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in asset management marketing at a global Asset Manager or Alternative Investment management firm.
Direct experience with marketing of private equity strategies.
Skilled in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Seismic, Asana, Salesforce, and AI-related tools is a plus.
Strong writing ability and familiarity with creating video content.
Bachelor's Degree required; CAIA, CFA, or MBA preferred.

Benefits & Perks

Expected annual base salary range of $160,000 - $205,000 USD.
Discretionary bonus based on individual and team performance.
