About the Role

We are excited to launch a brand-new Polestar dealership, bringing Scandinavian design, innovation, and electric performance to our community. Polestar is a premium electric vehicle brand focused on sustainability, cutting-edge technology, and a seamless customer experience. As part of our opening team, you'll play a key role in shaping the culture, reputation, and success of this new dealership. As a Polestar Specialist, you will be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences from the first interaction through to vehicle delivery. You'll educate customers about the Polestar lineup, guide them through the sales process, and serve as a brand ambassador for electric mobility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers, providing a warm, professional, and consultative sales experience.
  • Educate customers about Polestar vehicles, features, sustainability initiatives, and the EV ownership journey (charging, range, technology).
  • Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives, highlighting performance, design, and technology.
  • Guide customers through the purchase process, including financing/leasing options, trade-ins, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, industry trends, EV technology, and competitor offerings.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, follow-ups, and sales pipeline effectively.
  • Collaborate with the service and delivery teams to ensure a seamless ownership experience.
  • Represent the Polestar brand at dealership events, community activities, and EV awareness initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive sales or premium retail sales experience preferred (but not required).
  • Passion for sustainability, innovation, and the future of mobility.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to deliver a high-touch, customer-centric sales experience.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new digital platforms.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to thrive in a startup-style dealership environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday.
  • Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections & negotiating pricing.
  • Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills.
  • Interest in training additional sales associates once you get up to speed, and working in a team environment.
  • Clean driving record & valid driver's license.
