Product Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, generate, and analyze data; periodically review drawings and provide support to sales.
• Responsible for product marketing for specified products, including product planning, forecasting, pricing strategies, promotion/advertising strategies, and coordination with Marketing Communications.
• Develop market plans for each product and implement cost reduction efforts.
• Coordinate distributor strategic pricing efforts.
• Meet objectives of the product plan by reviewing daily orders and margins, working towards booking and margin goals.
• Assist in market development and penetration for new and derivative products.
• Work with customers, field sales, and distribution to develop new or derivative products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing or business.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with customers and peers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work prolonged periods at a computer and sit for extended times.
• Interaction with operations including walking, lifting, bending, and climbing stairs.
• Occasional travel as assigned by the Product Line Manager, including air and car travel.

Nice to Have

• Experience in product marketing or related fields.
• Knowledge of electrical components or aerospace industry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in marketing or business.
