The role of a Public Sector Campaign Manager involves driving pipeline-producing integrated marketing campaigns targeted at key buyers and influencers within the Public Sector segment, managing multiple projects, and ensuring campaign success within budget and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver innovative, integrated campaigns to reach key public sector personas throughout the buyer's journey, including cross-sell and upsell opportunities within current Public Sector customers.
  • Translate Public Sector expansion goals into scalable, actionable marketing plans that deliver measurable results.
  • Coordinate across the entire marketing team (digital, field, product marketing, web, marketing ops, enablement, PR, online, email, database) to ensure high-quality and timely campaign development and execution tailored for the Public Sector.
  • Manage and own the Public Sector campaign pipeline to ensure effectiveness and results.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to leverage campaigns through ISV and Channel partners relevant to government and education markets.
  • Work with field marketing to ensure sales readiness for campaign launches, providing enablement and resources.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including Public Sector sales and leadership, to align on campaign objectives and progress.
  • Coordinate campaign implementation schedules and contact management strategies for government and education audiences.
  • Research new vendor and program opportunities to generate leads at target CPLs, focusing on Public Sector-specific channels and events.
  • Implement testing methodologies (A/B) to optimize engagement and conversion within government agencies and educational institutions.
  • Analyze campaign results and optimize strategies to improve engagement, lead quality, conversion rates, and marketing spend effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2G (Business-to-Government) demand generation.
  • Experience managing ROI-driven, multi-channel marketing campaigns targeted at Public Sector customers.
  • Strong understanding of demand generation and success in owning Public Sector customer campaigns.
  • Knowledge of database marketing initiatives and compliance specific to Public Sector data.
  • Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills tailored for Public Sector audiences.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce; Marketo and Tableau are a plus.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Public Sector-specific channels and events.
  • Familiarity with government and educational market dynamics.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools like Marketo and data visualization tools like Tableau.

  • Annual OTE range between $128,000-$192,000 USD (California, Colorado, New York, Washington).
