The Retail Activation Specialist (RAS) will be responsible for maintaining beverage merchandising products in retail stores within a designated territory, ensuring brands are well-represented and promotional activities drive consumer engagement and sales growth. This role combines strategic planning, physical execution, and customer interaction, ideal for someone passionate about brand representation and retail merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

Sell and merchandise incremental cases on displays to grow retail floor space.
Execute new displays to gain market share and brand availability in outlets.
Gain new facings for assigned brands to grow market share and case volume.
Execute POS to increase brand visibility and impressions in accounts.
Close out of stocks for brand(s) in accounts via incremental salesfloor displays.
Visit accounts to merchandise cases and grow distribution via incremental displays.
Obtain high-traffic display opportunities and maintain brand merchandising standards throughout accounts.
Review territory coverage plan weekly with FSM based on commercial opportunity.
Record a minimum of 35 account calls per week via Repsly.
Record 40 working hours per week via Repsly.
Attend and actively participate in weekly team calls.
Review weekly and monthly KPI progress with the Field Sales Manager.
Ensure proper budget management via expense report submissions bi-weekly.

Requirements

Must have a valid Driver's License and vehicle to travel daily within the designated territory.
Ability to work flexible hours (40 hrs per week), including early mornings and weekends.
Ability to lift/carry cases in excess of 40 lbs and build displays independently.
Ability to pick up and transport POS, merchandising equipment, and products.
Strong customer service skills.
Results-driven and customer-focused mentality with a collaborative attitude.
Ability to be a passionate and enthusiastic brand ambassador.
Adept at networking, selling, and interacting with diverse groups of people.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with sales and brand teams.
Ability to leverage opportunities against multiple resources to get things done.
Ability to travel out of state if required.

Nice to Have

Experience in retail merchandising or brand activation.
Familiarity with Repsly or similar account management tools.

Qualifications

Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends.
Physical ability to lift/carry cases over 40 lbs and build displays.
