About the Role

The Commercialization Manager, Retail at Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is responsible for driving integrated product launch commercialization initiatives and strategies across Moen's Retail and E-commerce channels. The role involves planning and managing communication strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams and outside agency partners, and ensuring initiatives engage customers, influencers, and consumers along the purchase or specification path. The position supports business objectives and growth in market share within a dynamic, innovative company focused on creating smarter, safer, and more beautiful homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement impactful, integrated product launch communications and programs for Moen products across retail accounts such as The Home Depot, Costco, Sam's Club, Target, Walmart, and associated Ecommerce channels.
  • Own the commercialization strategy for products and innovations; serve as the project lead and Moen brand steward for all communication planning, development, and execution alignment with global brand standards.
  • Leverage the Moen Creative team or outside agency partners from development to execution and fulfillment, including creating project briefs and managing multiple partners and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Communicate and manage multiple project timetables, meet deadlines and budget parameters, and obtain legal and corporate approvals.
  • Support North American Product Marketing teams through development and execution of marketing communications tactics such as new product launch support, digital assets, packaging, social media, show support, and PR.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Channel, Customer Marketing teams, and internal departments to plan, execute, and coordinate commercialization programs and customer requests.
  • Initiate briefs for concepts, pitch support, and manage retail in-store initiatives including displays, in-aisle POP, packaging, and merchandising, along with design reviews and approvals.
  • Monitor current in-store displays and initiatives, including competitors' sets, to continually evolve and improve Moen's retail presence.
  • Manage and execute online initiatives with key customers by supporting digital display advertising and social campaigns, ensuring launches are on-message with visuals that meet timelines and commitments.
  • Identify metrics for evaluating marketing programs, analyze results to prove ROI, and provide insights for future strategies.
  • Support the creation of annual marketing communications strategic plans, presentations, and forecasts in conjunction with leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a marketing environment, with experience in developing strategic communication and product commercialization plans.
  • Experience in omnichannel marketing, specifically within Wholesale or Home Improvement Retail and E-commerce, with a strong understanding of The Home Depot's business model preferred.
  • In-store display and merchandising planning and execution experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders and agencies/partners.
  • Strong project management skills, including budget forecasting and management, organization, presentation, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with management, customer teams, agency partners, vendors, and sales staff.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% for agency meetings, store visits, customer meetings, and merchandising sets.
