About the Role

The Sales Director role involves working closely with partners, peers, and the SS&C ecosystem to expand market share by maintaining and generating new opportunities in aligned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Selling both directly and engaging closely with alliance and channel partners to develop and expand opportunities in aligned accounts.
  • Developing deep understanding of aligned accounts and building relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Selling automation solutions into large enterprises, BPOs, and Shared Services operations, managing complex sales campaigns from introduction to closure.
  • Working alongside senior relationship holders in key alliance partners in joint selling campaigns.
  • Using existing sales process and collateral, and helping develop materials tailored to specific markets.
  • Self-generating new pipeline and closing new business from end user clients.
  • Collaborating with alliance partners in joint selling campaigns.
  • Working with new channel partners to help them become independent.
  • Providing sales feedback to the technical team and helping identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts and opportunities for current and future quarters.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience selling into enterprise/multi-buyer, matrixed accounts with a successful track record.
  • Ability to sell at senior levels and manage complex transformational deals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with influencers within target accounts, partners, and internal resources.
  • Background in new business sales with a proven success record.
  • Experience in a consultative sales environment with complex solution sales cycles.
  • Ability to sell to both business and IT influencers.
  • Inquisitive and tenacious attitude to find new opportunities and extend account value.
  • Credibility at executive and operational levels to develop long-term relationships.
  • Comfortable carrying a quota, with strong organizational and relationship skills.
  • Results-focused mindset with the ability to lead and inspire others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
