Job Description

About the Role

The Sales Director is responsible for leading the CSL Selling with Noble Purpose sales process of the community. They manage community census by initiating and nurturing relations with community organizations, hospitals, and other referral sources to generate leads and move-ins. The role involves working closely with all levels of the organization to ensure the community's image and reputation are stellar, aligning with company values to make the community the preferred choice for prospective residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve community census goals and annual budget projections by generating leads, scheduling tours, advancing the sales process, and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Schedule, organize, and conduct Community Experiences with prospective residents, maintaining the integrity of the established sales approach and process.
  • Respond and follow-up with all walk-ins, phone inquiries, and web leads in a timely and appropriate manner, ensuring the sales database is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Create, plan, and implement Quarterly Revenue Plans including lead and move-in analysis, strategic planning, lead generation, and referral events following CSL standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director on lead management, personal connection strategies, and external business development.
  • Maintain budgeted occupancy and revenue by executing revenue plans, generating qualified inquiries, referrals, tours, and closing sales.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and referral sources to encourage direct referrals.
  • Lead uncertain sales opportunities, instructing team members on next steps and strategies.
  • Challenge and question the Executive Director and managers regarding move-ins, closings, and admissions decisions.
  • Act as liaison between the community and outside agencies, earning trust and promoting positive referral activities.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and develop strategies to maximize admissions and establish CSL as an expert on aging.
  • Schedule and conduct resident screenings with the Executive Director and/or Resident Care Director to determine care needs and insurance coverage.
  • Coordinate admissions through organizational skills, data entry, and weekly sales meetings.
  • Learn and stay informed about current regulations governing assisted living facilities.
  • Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
  • Promote the community’s public image and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Comply with all policies and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or at least two years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge of the workings and operation of the long-term care industry.
  • Genuine interest in improving the lives of seniors and families.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, public presenting, and interpersonal communication skills.
