Sales Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
• Generate room revenue through the execution of strategic planning and performance to achieve or exceed individual revenue goals within assigned market segments.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years as a Sales Manager in a Hyatt brand or luxury hotel.
• A four-year college degree from an accredited institution is desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Hospitality CRM systems (STS, Delphi, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including timely follow-up on tentative business and development of new opportunities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a competitive environment and manage interpersonal conflicts professionally.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Schaumburg, IL or familiarity with the local market.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sales Manager in a luxury hotel or Hyatt brand for 3-5 years.
• Four-year college degree (preferred).
