About the Role

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of the team(s) supporting accounts to drive the generation of revenue and business growth, lead a sales team(s), and ensure team performance through customer success motions and revenue retention strategies. The role involves managing, building, and developing strategic client relationships with a balanced level of engagement with the Sales Director and external clients. Key Responsibilities

Lead the team to achieve specific business targets and meet performance goals weekly, monthly, and quarterly, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Provide accurate sales forecasting and ensure CRM data is accurate and current.
Remove roadblocks and support the team in resolving challenges to support sales opportunities.
Monitor and drive team call time and productivity, conducting weekly performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Analyze data, performance, and customer experience trends to develop strategic sales plays and best practices for client territories.
Stay informed on developments in client services and market trends, ensuring the team is updated.
Act as a point of escalation for clients and respond promptly to issues.
Maintain communication with the Sales Director and external clients to foster and develop strategic relationships.
Work with clients on reporting and forecasting.
Ensure team understanding to meet operating plan targets, sales targets, and client performance targets.
Coordinate team incentives and sales performance incentive funds.
Build and maintain business relationships with partners to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

Must reside in the United States with a valid U.S. address.
5+ years of proven work experience in a sales role.
Passion for customer experience and driving team results.
Experience in operations and strategy building.
Excellent coaching history and ability to develop and retain employees.
Experience maximizing revenue through best practices.
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
Strong problem-solving skills as a manager.
Change management skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in managing remote or virtual teams.
Knowledge of the customer service industry and market trends.
Additional certifications or training in sales or leadership.

Qualifications

Proven work experience in sales for at least 5 years.
Experience with operations and strategy development.
Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms.
Strong coaching and employee development skills.
Change management experience.
