Sales Manager, B2B (Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the team to achieve specific business targets and meet performance targets weekly, monthly, and quarterly, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Provide accurate ongoing sales forecasting and ensure data recorded in the CRM is accurate and up-to-date.
• Remove roadblocks and support the team in resolving challenges to support sales opportunities.
• Monitor and drive team call time and productivity, conducting weekly performance reviews and coaching sessions with all team members.
• Analyze data, performance, and customer experience trends to develop strategic sales plays and best practices for client-specific territories.
• Stay current on developments in client services and market trends, ensuring the team is informed.
• Act as a point of escalation for clients and respond promptly to issues.
• Maintain communication with the Sales Director and external clients to foster and develop strategic client relationships.
• Work with clients on reporting and forecasting, and coordinate team incentives and sales performance incentive funds.
• Partner and build business relationships with all partners to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United States with a valid U.S. address.
• 5+ years of proven work experience in a sales role.
• Experience in operations and strategy building.
• Excellent coaching history and ability to develop and retain employees.
• Experience maximizing revenue through best practices.
• Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
• Strong solution-finding skills as a manager.
• Change management skills.
• A passion for customer experience and driving team results.

Nice to Have

• Experience in customer success motions such as onboarding, adoption, health checks, and voice of the customer.
• Experience with revenue retention activities like contract renewals, extensions, upsell, and expansion.
• Experience in building strategic client relationships and managing escalations.
• Familiarity with market developments and client services.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in sales for 5+ years.
• Experience with operations and strategy building.
• Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce.com.
• Strong coaching and employee development skills.
• Change management experience.
