Security Market Development Director - IAM, Google, Microsoft, Service Now, Z-Scaler, Crowdstrike

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Identify complex technology business problems and opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client needs and network-oriented solutions.
• Create differentiated security opportunities based on offerings and joint go-to-market strategies developed through the Accenture Security practice.
• Interact with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture to determine pursuit strategies, develop client contact plans, and build relationships.
• Support account personnel in building relationships with key buyers by bringing business and technical expertise to development conversations.
• Proactively prospect new opportunities through client account leads and direct client contact.
• Focus on progressing new opportunities to rapid qualification and advancement to Stage 2B (priced proposal).
• Travel as required, with travel varying from 0 to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Business Development experience in professional services, specifically in Security Services including IAM and related areas.
• Minimum of 5 years' Sales Pursuit Management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in direct sales with a quota of $8M+ and/or pipeline generation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience); if an Associate's Degree, at least 6 years work experience.
• Experience with Security technologies such as Zscaler, Palo Alto, Google Cloud, CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Okta, SailPoint.
• Ability to discuss network modernization and operations with VP+ clients and technical resources.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing Security solutions.
• Experience working with Security customers and selling in areas like Identity Access Management, Managed Detection & Response, SIEM, Zero Trust, SASE.
• Experience with ecosystem partners and hyperscalers.
• Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment.
• High energy level, focus, and ability to work well in demanding client environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years), or Associate's Degree with at least 6 years of experience.
